Review: 2020 INFINITI Q50 3.0t Edition 30 AWD

This advanced 300-horsepower, 3.0-liter, V6 twin-turbo model serves as an enticing incentive into the luxury sport sedan market.

INFINITI has revised the 2020 Q50 lineup with the addition of six models, one of which is the new Q50 3.0t Edition 30 AWD. This advanced 300-horsepower, 3.0-liter, V6 twin-turbo model serves as an enticing incentive for those looking to enter the luxury sport sedan market. The upgrade on all 2020 Q50 models also includes an array of new technology to keep drivers connected while on the road. The new-generation INFINITI InTouch™ infotainment system with HD dual-display LCD/VGA 8-inch upper and 7-inch lower touchscreens hosts standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ including Siri® and Google Voice® on models that adopt the updated system.

Vehicles with navigation become a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to seven devices, thereby preventing the need for vehicle occupants to use up their personal data allowances. Over-the-air updates for new infotainment system including maps can be done while connected to a home Wi-Fi network, and system functionality incorporates improved maps with 3D city view, street and satellite view imagery, and Destinations by Google®. INFINITI InTouch™ also provides an enhanced user experience via an improved interface with adoption of faster processor, new Bluetooth® module and HD microphone for easier pairing, prioritized connection, and higher stability.

Connectivity on the move is more important to drivers than ever—it allows them to keep up-to-date with the latest traffic information, while passengers can stream, surf, video call and more at their leisure.
Eric Rigaux, General Manager of Product Strategy & Planning for INFINITI Motor Company
